Most memorable golf moment:
When I came from five down off the front nine with the five-time
Washington State Amateur Champion to win the match and tournament.
I played the back nine 3-under par to go to the nineteenth hole.

How she got started in golf:
I was always a strong athlete when I
was young. I was an MVP in soccer, skied as much as possible, and
was a pretty good swimmer. One day, my dad suggested I tryout for
the golf team, and I really liked the subtlety, quietness and solitude
of the game. It also didnt hurt that the University of Washington
Mens Team used to practice at my home course.

Funniest thing that ever happened
on the golf course:
"I was hitting out of a bunker and
I heard a loud noise as if someone was hitting into us. I looked
back and nobody was there. I turned back to hit my shot and there
was a fish right by my ball. A bird dropped a fish when it flew
over the bunker."
What was most memorable about
your
trip to Japan:
"It was such a different place than Seattle or Los Angeles.
It was really peaceful, yet so bustling. It was so modern, but also
had so much history. As for the tournament, I played really well,
and it was my first taste of success as a college golfer proving
myself against qualified competition."
